In Retirement (SIR) is an organization of retired and semi-retired men.
We have
joined together to maintain old friendships, form new ones and share
the interests of retirement. Incorporated in 1959, the organization now
has about 22,000 members in 157 branches. There are no dues, and no
advocacy of political, religious or fraternal organizations. We have a Special Event scheduled for May 3. See Special Events page for details. Our program Chairman, Mario Vazquez, has arranged for Marv Tuttle-Vietnam Veteran: with service dogs, to speak of how dogs are amazing in helping patients with spinal cord injuries. He sustained such an injury and will bring his dog Yara. He is peer mentor for new spinal patients, both civilian and military veterans.
