What's with the Rooster
In Retirement (SIR) is an organization of retired and semi-retired men.
joined together to maintain old friendships, form new ones and share
the interests of retirement. Incorporated in 1959, the organization now
has about 22,000 members in 157 branches. There are no dues, and no
advocacy of political, religious or fraternal organizations.
For January Mario Vazquez, our Program Chairman, has arranged for Pam Steele, a licensed social worker at Fatima Villa, to discuss the practical needs and decisions that may arise, either for ourselves or for a spose or family member, if we find the need for skilled nursing, recovery therapy stays, or assisted living help.
