What is SIR
How SIR Started
In Retirement (SIR) is an organization of retired and semi-retired men.
joined together to maintain old friendships, form new ones and share
the interests of retirement. Incorporated in 1959, the organization now
has about 22,000 members in 157 branches. There are no dues, and no
advocacy of political, religious or fraternal organizations.
For December we we will have a special Christmas Luncheon with the Zinger Group providing entertainment. Our Progarm Chairman Mario Vazquez has also arranged for us to hear from Jerilyn Lightfoot from the Quilts of Valor Foundation. She will talk about their foundation and demonstrate how they honor our Veterans.
